I love this time of year! It's starting to feel like the holiday season, which means it's time for Christmas cards! A great and cheap option is to design your own card using 4x6 photos. You can customize them to reflect your style and they're only $0.19 per card to print. This weekend I met up with my cousin and her baby for a Christmas card photo shoot. After she picked out her favorite pictures and gave me a little direction (simple, "Peace Joy Love" and red), I came up with a few different designs for her to choose from.
Below are some of my favorites:

I enjoyed a beautiful Saturday with my friend's fun little kiddos, Aiden and Rilynn - we had a donut picnic, searched for lions, and scared pelicans. The day ended with a splash when Aiden fell in the lake:)
I can help with that too!
Together we will create a one-of-a-kind piece. You pick the photos and what you want to communicate, and I'll come up with a few samples. From there, we'll collaborate on design and stylize the piece to perfection. Not only is this great for birth announcements, but Christmas cards, invitations, and graduations as well! It's taken me a long time to post these photos! This summer has been incredibly busy, but with lots of fun stuff going on. One of the best weeks was when my cousin, Emily, and her growing little family came in town! Baby Grace was born a few months after I left California, so this was my first time meeting her. And she got to meet the whole Dallas clan - the first of many visits! I wish we had more time for photo shoots, but there were lots of family members to meet. I don't think she was in the same person's arms longer than 10 minutes before being passed to (grabbed by) someone else for the entire 10 day stay. This might have been the only time she wasn't being held, come to think of it. It didn't seem to bother her though. She is such a doll! I just moved into a new apartment last weekend, and had my first visitors! Finn and his mom, Kristin, came over and helped me explore the neighborhood. We didn't have to go far to capture some great photos - the neighbors' fences and brick walls made for excellent backdrops, as well as a little wooded area nearby.
Finn was quite the little outdoorsman and model! |
